Malaria kills half a million people every year and 400 million fall ill. 70% of the deaths are children under 5. One net cost 1.9 $ and can protect two people from malaria. The nets are estimated to last for 3 years. Before bed nets were made available, it was three or more times that.
Collective Calling was established in 2015 helping the beach rescues and camp support of refugees. Their mission is to empower and bring dignity back to the lives of the people they serve. They believe that a collective force of individuals, who have had a calling to help those in need, can bring hope in times of darkness, and can make a powerful impact on the suffering of humanity.
At the moment there are somewhere between 150 000-
300 000 girls from Nepal that are used as sex slaves in India. These girls are between the age from 6 to 24 years old. They are all forced to please up to 50 men a day and are locked up in cages so that they will not run away.
The Rohingya Refugee Camp
The Rohingya are a persecuted etnic minority who have been violently evicted from Ryanmar by Buddhist extremists. Over the past year 700, 000 Rohingya have been driven from their homes and are now residing in refugee camps in Bangladesh.
Zulufadder is a charity organization helping vulnerable children and youth in South Africa. Zulufadder wants to help as many children as it can in the rural areas around Eshowe, an area which has a high incidence of HIV and AIDS.
Malaga Orphanage - Ciudad de los Niños
Malaga orphanage is dedicated to giving children from difficult circumstances a happy and safe place to grow up. They children are all attending public school which is helping with integration.
Little Big Help
LittleBigHelp runs a School in Shalimar slum community where 100 children on a daily basis receive education, learn about their basic rights and enjoy a hot meal for lunch. We also work with the local community, mainly the parents of the children, since it is crucial to our work that they understand and support our efforts to educate their children.
